even tho I love the visual concept, does it “bother you” in any way that people “step onto” your art? (being on the floor as a cloth..feet, shoes…germs…etc….)
I think that”s something about floor cloths that has been a personal reaction to me…
Thoughts?
hope U R well! gotta go! Best! Thanks!

a new pair of ruby slippers
Judi Knight of New Tricks, shares a mod pair of Ruby Slippers while consulting with me on a new blog design. It turns out that I was able to show Judi a New Trick about posting a blog post to Facebook from my wordpress.com blog. Judi and Dene Shepherd tried yesterday to get Mark “Exit” Goddchild”s WordPress.com blog to post to his Facebook page online casino and I fixed It! Yea! It turns out that if you put a link into the post and save it, go to the post in View, a box comes up that gives a choice to select it and it can post to Facebook or where ever.

Art & Friends
Sherry is my longtime friend of 18 yrs. She has what we artists call a ‘good eye’. Often she is the helpful art critic I need to call on to decide if a piece is complete or not. She has a heart of gold and loves family, community, food, and Jewish Holidays which include lots of her yummy cooking. Hugs n’Kisses runner was done for Sherry. “hugs n’kisses” is one of her favorite good byes.

This is my Irish Sister Kate, I recently was at her house, the beautiful home of Kate & Lillie. I had not been there in awhile and it was a treat to get a good visit in with my dear friend. While I was there I noticed all my art on the walls and floors. Accumlated after nearly 30yrs of friendship. Hearing Kate talk about how she kept learning more about each piece and enjoying it is a big reason I love making beautiful art for peoples homes.
Kate & Lillie are community movers and shakers, founders of: www.bepresent.org
We are lucky to have them empowering our youth & community. Peace n’hugs. Callahan

I’m forwarding you a wonderful website with beautiful art created by my Irish sister, Callahan McDonough. You may have seen several of Callahan’s pieces on my floors and walls. What I love most about Callahan’s work is that the longer I have had the pieces (some for as long as 28 years) the more I love them. There is just something about Callahan’s vision and spirit that captures something that makes art live with you. Take a look! Peace, love and blessings, Kate

This is a Wedding floor cloth I made for a friends wedding about a year ago. I was working on Karen’s, personalized, Wedding Gift, up to the last minute. The wedding was in Austin, Texas, so with paint freshly applied and floor cloth in hand we winged our way to Karen & Ken’s wedding. Everyone loved the floor cloth and urged me to market more of them as Wedding gifts. This week I finally got photos of the Wedding Floor Cloth and am putting them out there. If you want a special, artisian crafted wedding gift, that lasts for generations, this is it.
